A quiet record

This page is Sanctuary Codex’s dated notes for Season 15 — what the patch changed, what mid-season hotfixes fixed, and where the deeper primers live. It is not a full patch dump and it does not list other guide sites.

  1. · Patch 3.2.1

Still on 3.2.1 — no fourth mid-season hotfix yet

As of 20 September, the live numbered patch is still 3.2.1. Hotfixes 1–3 under that same number covered launch login, Whispers, and Solo Self-Found; there is no Hotfix 4 for Hell's Legacy in this window, and no 3.2.2.

For now: Treat mid-September fixes as bugfixes under 3.2.1, not a new balance patch. Check back here when a numbered follow-up lands.

  2. · Patch 3.2.1

Warlock Dominance on Fiend of Abaddon temporarily disabled

Blizzard disabled the Dominance upgrade for Fiend of Abaddon after it scaled damage higher than intended. The upgrade stays off while a fix is built; as of 20 September it has not been re-enabled.

If you planned around it: Leave that upgrade alone until it returns. Our Ae'grom Summoner page does not use Fiend of Abaddon — see §03.

  3. · Patch 3.2.1 · Hotfix 3

Hotfix 3 — Tree of Whispers caches and Solo Self-Found

Hotfix 3 under 3.2.1 fixed Tree of Whispers caches that could not be claimed, and fixed previous seasonal progress not resetting on new seasonal Solo Self-Found characters. The mode was re-enabled with that fix. A trade-window item display issue was also addressed. Bugfix only — not a balance pass.

What to do: Claim Whispers caches again; if you play SSF, confirm a fresh seasonal character starts clean and that the mode is available.

  4. · Patch 3.2.1 · Hotfix 2

Hotfix 2 — Ancestral Stealth craft and Whispers investigation

Hotfix 2 under 3.2.1 fixed an issue when transfiguring Ancestral Stealthed items. The same day, Blizzard investigated players unable to turn in completed Whispers at Ravens or the Tree of Whispers; the claim fix landed in Hotfix 3 the next day.

Next step: Retry Ancestral Stealth transfigures if they failed earlier; use Hotfix 3’s cache fix for stuck Whispers turn-ins.

  5. · Patch 3.2.1

Solo Self-Found briefly offline, then restored

Solo Self-Found hit season-launch problems with availability and seasonal progress. Blizzard posted restore updates through 16–17 September; Hotfix 3 on 18 September fixed progress not resetting on new seasonal SSF characters and confirmed the mode re-enabled.

If you rolled SSF: Check that progress reset correctly on a new seasonal character before you invest further.

  6. · Patch 3.2.1

Season of Hell's Legacy is live on patch 3.2.1

Season 15 opened on 15 September 2026 as the centrepiece of Diablo’s 30th anniversary — a seasonal questline through Diablo history, Prime Evil remnants, and the Reliquary / War Plan systems. Numbered patch 3.2.1 shipped with it: class balance, item updates, crafting changes (including Forgotten Soul cuts for gems and Ancestral enchant), and game-feature updates. As of 20 September, 3.2.1 is still the current numbered patch; mid-September hotfixes sit under that same number.

Start here: Begin on the Seasonal Realm and follow the day-one order on Season 15. Crafting cost cuts are already on Farming.

  7. · Patch 3.2.1 · Hotfix 1

Launch-day login issues cleared by Hotfix 1

Some players could not log in when Hell's Legacy went live. Blizzard deployed Hotfix 1 under 3.2.1 the same day and confirmed players could log in again. Solo Self-Found stayed under separate investigation that evening (restored later in the week).

What to do: Log in normally; treat this as resolved. SSF players should use the 16–18 September notes above.

  8. · Patch 3.2.1

Forgotten Soul costs cut for gems and Ancestral enchant

Patch 3.2.1 cut Forgotten Soul costs to craft Royal Gems to 10, Grand Gems to 50, and to enchant Ancestral items to 10. Full craft tables live on the Farming primer — not reprinted here.

When you craft: Use the verified numbers on Farming when you plan gem and enchant spends.

  9. · Patch 3.2.1

Some PlayStation 5 players hit early patch login trouble

Blizzard investigated PlayStation 5 players in Japan and select EMEA regions who could not access Diablo IV after receiving patch 3.2.1 earlier than intended. Affected players were told they could log in with the official 3.2.1 rollout the next day.

Historical only: The official rollout on 15 September cleared this path. No action if you are already in.

Standing notes

Warlock: Dominance on Fiend of Abaddon still disabled

As of 20 September 2026, the Dominance upgrade for Fiend of Abaddon remains temporarily disabled because damage scaled higher than intended. Do not plan a build around that upgrade until Blizzard re-enables it. Sanctuary’s Ae'grom Summoner guide does not use Fiend of Abaddon.

Where depth lives

This page omits Season 14 Hotfix 4, July 3.1.x server hotfixes, undated meta chatter, and any full reprint of patch notes. Depth belongs on the primers above.
